Pros and Joes pull in some whopping weights during Kingston Canadian Open
Posted Jul 29, 2010 By EMC NewsEMC Sports - The Kingston Canadian Open Fishing Tournament was held out of Confederation Basin last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The three-day event saw professional and amateur anglers from Canada and the United States compete for prizes up to $40,000. Proceeds from the tournament went to Soldier On, a program to assist wounded soldiers and their families. (Left) Chris Johnston and Robert Greco display their catch during Friday's weigh-in. (Right) Well-known TV fishing host and angler Bob Izumi displays his catch during the weigh-in. The event was won by angler Derek Strub who pocketed over $40,000 in cash and prizes.
